Canadian Music Centre Prairie Region's Composer Speaker Series is back for another season! We are excited to share that Associate Composer Mari Alice Conrad will be joining us in Calgary on Wednesday, October 2nd in the Eckhardt-Gramatte, Rozsa Centre from 12-1pm. Mari Alice's presentation will feature one of her recent compositions for orchestra, choir, and electroacoustic percussion instrument, Serotiny. Mari Alice will also present her own handmade electroacoustic instrument, the pineoglpyh.
This event is free to attend and CMCPR will also be hosting its first "Composers n' Coffee" with Mari Alice in the University Theatre Lobby following the presentation at 1pm.
