From the Diary of Anne Frank is a beautiful work composed by Dr. Brian Black, Professor Emeritus in Musicology at the University of Lethbridge, and has never before been presented in Calgary. We will also perform a scintillating example of Joseph Haydn, the originator of the string quartet, from his middle years, and also feature a rare performance of String Quartet No. 5 from the great Canadian series of thirteen by R. Murray Schafer.
