Blake Pouliot & Susanne Ruberg-Gordon

Calgary Pro Musica is excited to announce its upcoming livestream concert featuring Canadian violinist Blake Pouliot and pianist Susanne Ruberg-Gordon on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Violinist Blake Pouliot has joined the upper echelons of brilliant soloists, establishing himself as a consummate 21st century artist with the rigour and passion to shine for a lifetime. At only 27-years-old the tenacious violinist has been praised by the Toronto Star as, “one of those special talents that comes along once in a lifetime.”

Quoted by the Chronicle Herald as “A superb musician”, Swedish-born pianist Susanne Ruberg-Gordon is a highly regarded and sought-after chamber-musician and collaborative pianist. Susanne is the pianist and core member of the Juno-nominated Land’s End Ensemble in Calgary.

Mozart:  Violin Sonata in F major, K. 376

Janáček:  Violin Sonata

Kreisler:  Caprice Viennois, Op. 2

Tickets for this live stream concert are $43 (adults) / $33 (students/seniors) and are available online through www.calgarypromusica.ca. 3-concert subscriptions are also available for $90 (adults) / $80 (students/seniors) and include the March 7th livestream concert, "3 Concertmasters" (April 25th & 26th), and "Trio Triple Forte" (May 30th & 31st). The April and May concerts are scheduled to be a socially-distanced concert.

The livestream will be hosted by Stagestream Live, and login details will be sent on March 1st for those who purchased the tickets. The concert will be streamed live at 3:00 PM, and then be posted for one week to be accessed afterwards.
