As part of its 2020-2021 virtual season, Calgary Renaissance Singers and Players are proud to present an interview with Peter Phillips, founder and director of the renowned early music ensemble, the Tallis Scholars. In this interview. Mr. Phillips talks about the group since its inception over forty years ago and how its sound has changed over time, the differences between recordings and live performances, and the fads in early music performances over the decades. The interview is accompanied by one of the Tallis Scholars' recordings chosen by Peter Phillips.
