Encore! Divas Opera Live

Divas Opera makes their highly anticipated return to the stage for an 'Encore!'

Divas Opera is back for an ‘Encore!’ - returning to the stage and singing for a live audience. The captivating duo will perform on August 10th, 2021 at 7:30pm on the spacious rooftop patio of the Marriott Downtown Calgary with Jill Kotchon on piano. The concert will feature the Divas Opera distinct flair of numerous gown changes, personal anecdotes of their careers, descriptions of what to listen for, and a wide range of repertoire including the Divas greatest hits, audience favourites, and some new surprises as well.

They have invited Palladio Music (violin duo) and young singers from the Renert Solo Voice Studio to join them as guests.

After having their concert tour and 2020/early 2021 engagements cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Divas Opera has fought hard to keep their audience engaged, and classical vocal music alive in Calgary. They released videos of their ‘Physically Distant Duets’, created a Divas Opera Christmas week full traditional songs, lent their voices to Mysterious Barricades Suicide Awareness concert, and finally performed one of the only live classical vocal concerts with a live audience during the pandemic. Their concert ‘The Show Must Go On’ in September in 2020 was a massive success with support from AHS and having zero cases of community transmission and zero cases of Covid-19. This ‘Encore’ is highly anticipated and one not to miss!
