Haydn, Pärt + Chin

Celebrating classical music of the past and present. This concert begins with ‘father of the symphony’ Joseph Haydn’s Oxford, followed by 20th century composer Arvo Pärt’s Fratres, influenced by his interest in chant music. The main feature is Graffiti by Unsuk Chin, a recent, multilayered work that takes inspiration from the creativity behind the provocative artform.
