Vamos a Bailar: Let’s Dance

In this lively concert, the Calgary Wind Symphony honours Astor Piazzolla, the iconic Argentinian composer who revolutionized tango music. They will be playing his famous works, Oblivion and Libertangos. 

The concert also features the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra’s principal trumpet, Adam Zinatelli, in Alexander Arutunian’s Concerto for Trumpet, and a world-premiere piece by Calgary composer Dyllan Mills-Harten.
