ProArts presents Woodwind Ensemble

A new collective of some of Calgary’s finest wind players brings to vivid life music for flute, oboe, clarinet, horn & bassoon. The varied tone colours of this combination are the inspiration for American composer Samuel Barber’s languid and evocative “Summer Music.” Our Summer Serenade program continues with light and witty music from France, a bit of Mozart, and even a take on a tango classic.
