Calgary's original string ensemble Kensington Sinfonia kicks off the 2022-23 season with two exciting new collaborations. 

Calgary’s poet laureate Wakefield Brewster adds his spoken word artistry to the performance of the Kompa Variations by Harlem composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR), while dancer Cindy Ansah improvises to Calgary composer Donovan Seidle’s Jabberwocky. 

The Sinfonia rounds out the show with the thrilling Strum by American composer Jessie Montgomery, a celebration of pizzicato and rhythm.
