Rediscovering the Renaissance

Our first live performance since 2019, this concert offers an opportunity to re-discover the beautiful music of the Renaissance, both sacred and secular, and to hear some works by modern composers in a similar spirit. Be prepared for some favourites of the early music repertoire, as well as works by young modern composers. There will be songs for Christmas and Advent, 17th century music from Ukraine, and some pieces originally programmed for our 50th Anniversary Concert cancelled because of COVID-19.

Joining us for this concert are instrumentalists Ralph Maier on theorbo,  organist Colin Redekop, and Paul Grindlay,  bass soloist.

Pre-concert talk:  7:00 pm. The concert starts at 7:30.
