The Twelve Chinese Zodiac Animals

The Chinese zodiac legend depicts the Great Race in which the Jade Emperor ordained that the twelve animals to finish first would be designated and honoured as calendar signs.

Now, thousands of years later, we invite you to join us for the world premieres of 12 new compositions by Vincent Ho, BMus’98, performed by alumni and students of our piano program.

This unique composer/performer project has been a year in the making. Witness how these magical character pieces come alive on stage for the very first time, each with their own spirit.

1:30 p.m.: pre-concert talk with composer Vincent Ho, BMus’98
2 p.m.: concert, followed by a reception with performers and composer, and Chinese refreshments
