Shakespeare’s timeless tale of this “pair of star-crossed lovers” has inspired many composers. This concert brings Bernstein’s brilliant and iconic Broadway and film adaptation and Prokofiev’s extraordinary ballet score together for an afternoon of powerful and romantic music-making.
