Faculty and Friends Concert Series presents A Celebration of Music by Black Composers V with the UCalgary String Quartet

This UCalgary String quartet performance is part of a series of concerts featuring the music of Black composers. The series was initiated in 2020, in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The featured composers are Florence Price, Eric Lacy, Daniel Bernard Roumain and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.

Daniel Bernard Roumain – String Quartet No. 1
Samuel Coleridge-Taylor – Five Spirituals and Dances
Samuel Coleridge-Taylor – Fantasie - Stucke Op. 5

Tickets are $26 (adults) / $19 (students/seniors) and are available online through arts.ucalgary.ca/tickets or at the door.
