Kensington Sinfonia at the Calgary Central Library

See the Kensington Sinfonia String Quintet perform live at the Calgary Central Library's Patricia A Whelan Performance Hall.

In their first live concert since February, we will be presenting a social-distancing safe performance at the Calgary Central Library's beautiful Patricia A Whelan Performance Hall. We will be performing as a quintet and quartet featuring the following music:

Joseph Haydn / String Quartet Op. 77 No. 2, Minuet
Caroline Shaw / Entr'acte
Ashley Seward / Storms Over Camp Creek
Guillaume de Machaut / Agnus Dei from Notre Dame Mass
Lou Harrison / String Quartet Set

This varied program features music from the Renaissance all the way to Ashley Seward, who is a young Calgary composer. If you need a live classical music fix, don't miss this show!

Tickets are free but registration is required (only 40 tickets are available to ensure social-distancing is followed). Register through Eventbrite.
