Alberta's Mountain View Connection Concert Series presents the 16th Isolation Point Virtual Concert featuring Jocelyn Zhou, piano.

This online concert will premiere at 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 22, 2020, through YouTube.

Jocelyn Zhou, age of nine, began her music education at Yamaha Music School and showed her passion at the age of four. After achieving First Class Honors with Distinction in her first RCM exam by self-learning, she started private piano lessons at the age of six and is currently the student of Ms. Kathleen van Mourik.

She is also studying composition and theory with Canadian composer Christine Donkin. Jocelyn has won her classes and scholarships in the Calgary Performing Arts Festival, Calgary Contemporary Showcase, and Mountain View Festival. Jocelyn is also a good swimmer and has won competitions in her club. Besides, she enjoys hiking, camping, and horse-riding.

Alberta's Mountain View Connection Concert Series goes to a virtual concert series during the COVID-19 pandemic with a new performance project: Isolation Point, To Keep Music and Musicians Moving Forward. For more information, please visit Mountain View's website.
