UCalgary Brass Ensemble

Join the UCalgary Brass Ensemble for an evening of compelling music that showcases the talent of our dedicated musicians. This highly-skilled group of students demonstrates their expertise across a wide range of musical styles, from classical pieces to innovative contemporary works.

Established in 2003 by Gareth Jones, the ensemble is comprised of the top brass UCalgary students (trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium and tuba), as well as alumni of the program. The repertoire ranges from Renaissance works to modern-day masterpieces.
