Graduate Music Society Conference – Confounding Expectations

How does time experience vary among individuals? What impact does the season or time of day have on the emotive creativity, musical compositions, or performances of an individual? What is the influence of time on the audience’s reaction to music? 

Come and explore the rhythm of time and music at the annual Graduate Music Society Conference Confounding Expectations with this year’s theme The Bounds of Time.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Jeremy Brown, University of Calgary School of Creative and Performing Arts
Invited Speakers: Dr. Vincent Ho and Sir N. Antonio Peruch 
Roundtable Discussion: Dr. Kristin Flores and Dr. Laurie Radford 

The conference is hybrid. Events will take place at the Rozsa Centre and via Zoom. The event is free and open to the public.
