Beth & Sabina Sandvoss, cello

What is better than a cello?  Two cellos!  Cellist’s, Beth and Sabina Sandvoss (mother & daughter) join forces to present a selection of spirited & soulful duets and solos from baroque to contemporary classical music.

Cellist Beth Root Sandvoss is known for her intensely committed performances and interpretations. She has a notably varied career as a recitalist, chamber musician and pedagogue.

Cellist Sabina Sandvoss, was born into a musical family and received a cello for her fourth birthday. Sabina is in the Advanced Performance Program at Mount Royal University Conservatory

This free virtual concert series is created for and dedicated to hospital patients, their families, and healthcare workers. The intent is to reduce feelings of boredom and loneliness among patients, provide an opportunity for patients and their families to connect over a shared experience, and assist patients, families, and healthcare workers in caring for their mental health during this difficult time. We wish also to extend this music to our seniors in long-term care, and to all who may enjoy. We hope this music can lift your spirits and allow us to feel together at this time.
