From the creative mind of Steve Hackman, the Calgary Phil starts the Season with a bang with Tchaikovsky X Drake — an innovative fusion of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s epic Fifth Symphony and over 20 songs by Canadian superstar rapper Drake. Conducted by Steve Hackman, experience the symphony’s emotional journey from darkness to light afresh with Drake’s introspective lyrics in this compelling symphonic synthesis.
