Founded in 2006, Cum Vino Cantus is a Calgary community choir where they share their love of music, musicianship, and passion for performing with like-minded people. As one of the top choirs in Calgary, this 50-member choir is known to perform a blend of eclectic music that captures a broad spectrum of human emotion and experience.
Cum Vino Cantus is a choir that loves good music, tasty wine, and great singing. After all, their name, Cum Vino Cantus, comes from Latin, for “with wine, comes singing!”
Their spring concert will take place this Sunday, May 14 (yes, it’s Mother’s Day!) at McDougall United Church. A perfect complement to your Mother's Day brunch, the concert will feature music of Bob Dylan, Harry Somers, Morten Johannes Lauridsen, Alberta's own Ian Tyson, and more.
Cash 50/50 and Mother's Day Wine Basket raffle tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are $20 (general admission) and are available through Eventbrite.
Their last concert was sold out – buy your tickets in advance to avoid a disappointment. You don’t want to disappoint your mom on Mother’s Day!
