After a three-year break, the Calgary Music Makers are making a grand return with their Spring concert, titled Be the Change. This exciting event is set to take place on Saturday, June 3 at Woodcliff United Church.
For almost four decades, the 50+ age choir has entertained audiences with their harmonious voices and captivating performances. While their repertoire primarily consists of beloved traditional songs and melodies from the golden era of music, they also embrace Broadway classics and occasionally incorporate more contemporary pieces. With a diverse range of musical selections, their program aims to delight audiences of all tastes.
Adding to the excitement of the evening, the choir will be joined by the Prairie Mountain Fiddlers as special guests. As a testament to their commitment to the community, the concert is free of charge, but attendees are encouraged to make either a cash donation or contribute non-perishable food items to support the Calgary Food Bank.
Mark your calendars for the Calgary Music Makers' Be the Change concert, where melodies, voices, and giving back come together in perfect harmony.
