Under the direction of Karen Nell-Bennett and accompanied by Jon Day, Cum Vino Cantus promises an afternoon filled with the timeless melodies of the holiday season. From the jubilant tones of Gaudete (Rejoice!) to the soulful compositions of Gordon Lightfoot and the classical brilliance of Johannes Brahms, the choir's full-range vocals will undoubtedly warm your heart and elevate your holiday spirit.
Known for their versatility, Cum Vino Cantus has curated a program that seamlessly weaves together nostalgic favorites and contemporary gems. This 50-member choir, celebrated as one of the top choirs in Calgary, has earned its reputation by performing a blend of eclectic music that captures a broad spectrum of human emotion and experience.
Season of Stars will take place on Sunday, December 10 at McDougall United Church. The doors open at 1:30 p.m., and the performance begins at 2:30 p.m.
